Do you hate the high pitched whine of the dental "drill", which is actually called a handpiece. There are basically two types of handpieces, air-driven and electric. Electric handpieces are much more quiet than their air-driven counterparts. They also have less vibration, which improves comfort, and better torque, which improves efficiency.
