
Dr. David Ward
Dr. Ward graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A & M University and then attended dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, graduating in 1984. He has completed thousands of hours of continuing education since graduation beginning with a General Practice Residency in Omaha, Ne.
Dr. Ward has taken post-graduate courses in all aspects of dentistry including extensive training in orthodontics, laser periodontics, dental implants and sedation dentistry. He has been practicing general dentistry for 26 years. He has been in his current location for 22 years.
Dr. Ward is a past president of the Permian Basin District Dental Society. He also is a member of the Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, the Academy of Gp Orthodontics, trained with the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry, and he is a Fellow of the American Dental Implant Association.. Dr. Ward is specially licensed by the state of Texas to provide nitrous oxide sedation and oral sedation.
Dr. Ward has been married to his wife, Ann, for 28 years. They have two daughters, April and Crystal. April is a recent Harvard Law School graduate. She and her husband, Ben, now reside in Austin. Crystal, an all-state flutist and honor graduate of Big Spring High School is now pursuing an Speech, Language, and Hearing Science degree at Texas Tech.
Dr. Ward believes his blessings are too numerous to list here, but here's a few anyway... loving Christian parents, a wonderful and supportive wife, believing adult children who make their parents proud, a great education, the chance to serve in the USAF as a young man, the chance to live the USA and in West Texas, good health, a fantastic office staff, and most of all to be a child of God.
